Just a quick web search makes alot of possible death date, so a link on a page smth like these from local radio stations [1] (sorry for slovene in language).

@Yerpo: Why, if there's death date 8th of January, we may just look at local radio stations. They should be plenty out there, specialy now, 10 days after his death. I know, for example, radio Primorski Val has a list of death annoucements on its page; but I don't think he'll be mentioned on this one. --A09090091 (pogovor) 15:50, 18. januar 2021 (CET)

Unfortunately, Slovene publications usually don't specify exact date of death. I found an obituary by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering which states that they received word of his death on 12 January, and the one from Lesce ALC Aeroclub without specified date (but published on 10 January). For now, I think we should remove the exact date and only list "januar 2021". — Yerpo ^Ha? 16:01, 18. januar 2021 (CET)

As you wish, does anybody know for radio stations near Jesenice? Maybe, or even local press, there could be. But I am not unfortunately from that part of Slovenia, so I am not really competent.
