This template displays discharge measurement units used within various Category:Geobox templates, automatically converting between metric/imperial values. The input must be unformatted numeric values (i.e. without commas, the commas are automatically added to the output).

Usage

It can display and convert following units:

• m³/s to cu ft/s (cubic metres per second to cubic feet per second) and vice-versa

The template has 3 unnamed parameters: {{Unit discharge| unit| value| round}}. Their meaning is as follows:

1. unit … obligatory, unit (cbm, cbft or shorthands: m, ft) of parameter value, it will get displayed first
2. value … obligatory, numerical value
3. round … mandatory, number of decimal digits (negative numbers can be used for rounded figures); if not specified 0 is assumed

Examples

• {{Unit discharge|cbm|1000}}: 1.000 m³/s (35.315 cu ft/s)
• {{Unit discharge|m|1000}}: 1.000 m³/s (35.315 cu ft/s)
• {{Unit discharge|cbft|1000|-1}}: 1.000 cu ft/s (30 m³/s)
• {{Unit discharge|ft|1000.25|2}}: 1.000,25 cu ft/s (28,32 m³/s)
