I know (and it is too bad) that the official page of the FIS don't consider regulation about higher number of wins or of point deduction. I would like to suggest that you may read the German Wikipedia (in the "talk" you may find the source for that correction, it is the "Arbeiterzeitung Vienna"). As you can see, there are further corrections, and always there is the German Wikipedia the only one which says the correct result. In the case, Podborski vs. Mueller the point deduction was decisive, in the other cases it was the higher number of wins. --Skiscout (pogovor) 16:46, 31. januar 2017 (CET).

I'm, sorry, but in that case the official page does mistaken (and FIS websites are wrong in very many cases) - I would like to suggest that You may read about Stenmark vs. Strand in the slalom 1982-83, Stenmark vs. Zurbriggen in the giant slalom 1983-84, and Zurbriggen vs. Gaspoz in the giant slalom 1986-87, and the female duell Steiner vs. Hess in the slalom 1985-86. It may be that a journalist does mistaken once but not more, and Austrian newspapers may be called as competent for the Alpine Skiing World Cup (in Austrians Alpine skiing is a dominate sports since the begin of it; okay, I know that Kranjska Gora und Maribor are two famouse ski resorts...).
