My name is Samson Maosa from Kenya. I specialize in Kiswahili Wikipedia. I am one of the grand winners of the Kiswahili Wikipedia Challenge 2009 and I currently translate and create articles in Kiswahili.
Education
I am currently a student at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Kenya. I specialize in Electronics and Computer Engineering
Chapter Involvement
I am currently in the team that is in the process to establish a Wikimedia Chapter in Kenya whose progress can be viewed in the Wikimedia Kenya Page
Current Projects
This year, under the umbrella of Wikimedia Kenya, I am involved in the Outreach Project to Kenyan Schools where we promote awareness about, educate schools on the use of Wikipedia for Schools and install an offline version of Wikipedia for Schools. This project is currently in its pilot phase.
