GP2 sezona 2009 se je začela 9. maja 2009 na španskem dirkališču Circuit de Catalunya in končala 20. septembra 2009 na portugalskem dirkališču Autódromo Internacional do Algarve. Naslov prvaka je osvojil nemški dirkač Nico Hülkenberg.
